Pierce's First Dip in His Pool

Yesterday, Pierce took his first swim in his pool. There was about 2 1/2 inches of water in the pool and he seemed to like it. He moved his little hands around and tried to grab his feet. He was chillin' in his trunks (thanks, Gigi!), his sunglasses, & his hat (which is now too small). I tried to velcro it under his second chin the other day and he looked like he should've been in the band...way too tight! Hope you like the pic!

Some New Things...

For the first time last weekend, Pierce decided to sport some cargo shorts. He looked very cool and seemed to like them. I'm sure it was a nice change from his usual onesie! I finally caught a good smile or two on camera (I've been trying for weeks!), so I truly feel like I accomplished my goal...FINALLY! He certainly is talking a lot now and loves to have conversations with the remote, his monitor and his favorite toy, the peacock. He even tries to coo along when I sing to him!

Look What Pierce Found!

Last week I walked into Pierce's room to check on him and look what he found...

He's starting to refuse his pacifier, in hopes that he can find that thumb again. This is fine, except he hasn't quite mastered getting the thumb in his mouth on the first...or 40th try. He's pretty good at putting his entire fist in his mouth, but the lone thumb is tricky for him. (It can be tricky for Mommy & Daddy not to intervene to help him when we're desperately trying to get him down for his nap!)

Pierce Coming Home From the Hospital

Here's my first try at posting a picture. It's a little "old" (a little over 9 weeks to be exact), but it's the latest one on this computer. This is of Pierce coming home from the hospital.

The start of our Parker Family Blog

Friends & Family,
Hi everyone! We had a blog right after B and I got married and now with Pierce, it seems to be a good idea to try it again. I've been trying to keep everyone in the loop, as far as pictures go, but it's awful time consuming and I think I probably miss quite a few people.
So...I'm going to copy my pal (I really call her something else, but it's not kid-friendly), Kerry and see how this works. I love how she posts and all her friends and family can check the blog at their convenience. Hers is really cute and even though she lives 2 minutes away, I still check her blog because it's too cool.
We pray this finds you all well and please be patient as I try to get this up and running!
Much love and God bless,
Ali & Boys
