Rain Rain Go Away!!

Here are a couple of pics of Piercey Boy after one of his baths last week. Isn't he too sweet with his Pooh Bear towel?

Waggz is doing well in his big brother roll. He loves to join us when we're playing on the floor and since he was being so nice, I decided to take his picture with his little bro.

It's been raining here off and on for the past 3 days. It's great because we desperately need the rain, but not so great because who wants to take a little guy out into the rain? Funny...because that would be me. We made the long, 2 minute trip to the Bleils on Saturday evening for the annual Fantasy Football draft and a little dinner. All three kids were actually awake (and pleasant) at the same time! Pierce was all about hangin' with his girlfriend, Anna (she's 2 weeks younger) & his much older girlfriend, Sarah (she's the ripe old age of 3 1/2). Sarah decided she was not going to open her eyes for the pics...she's too cool for me when I'm taking pics! :)

I think Anna's telling him a secret...or whispering sweet nothings into his ear!

Sorry these pictures won't line up side by side..UGH!

Lots of PA Family Visitors!

Last week we had a few visitors. Pappy Tony & Cindy came for a long weekend, followed by Gigi & Poppy. Prior to this visit, Gigi was the only one of the four that Pierce had met. He was very excited to meet everyone!

It seemed as though every time Pappy held Pierce, he cried. Now, I know Pappy would like to say that didn't happen, but since I have it on film, I thought I'd post it...just to make sure everyone could witness it for themselves!

We took everyone to the Civil Rights Memorial in downtown Montgomery, and because we're there so often, they have offered Pierce a job. He's the highlight for the workers, even if he really doesn't watch the video. The lights outside in the hallway seem to be much more interesting to him! :) Here he's putting his hands in the water for the first time.

We also took Pappy & Cindy to Dexter Avenue Baptist Church. This is the only church that Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. was the pastor. He preached and spoke many places, but this is the only place he was in the pulpit. He was the pastor from 1954-1960. Pierce enjoys this tour, too, but on this particular day, he decided he would rather sit with Mommy on a pew. Maybe he sat where MLK once sat...you never know!
On the last night Pappy & Cindy were here, we did a photo op out on the back porch. Pierce was ready for bed, but seemed to enjoy his time in front of the camera...wonder where he gets that? And, so maybe he didn't cry EVERY time Pappy held him!

After a quick turn around of sheets & towels, Gigi & Poppy arrived. Gigi had a cold, so unfortunately, she didn't get to steal many kisses from Pierce, or make it into very many pics...SO, Poppy, here you go!

Pierce absolutely loved his Poppy. They spent many hours flying around the house and chasing after Waggz. It turns out, Poppy's a pretty funny guy!

While Gigi & Poppy were here, Pierce also figured out that yes, in fact, his hands DO actually work!! Pretty cool how he can hold his own keys...anyone want to go for a spin??? (In Daddy's car, of course!)

It was chilly one day, so I put this sweet, sweet outfit on Pierce that he got from his Auntie Feather. Eventually it warmed up and he had to change, but he was rockin' it while I had it on him! We also found a hat that matched his onesie...of course I had to put it on him before he outgrows it! How funny does he look? Bless his little heart!
Here are a few pics of Pierce with Gigi & Poppy....

On Gigi & Poppy's last day, we decided in support of the 2008 Olympics, we would have a red, white & blue photo shoot. Good thing Pierce had his USA shirt available!

Hey, Poppy...if you wanted to take Pierce fishing, he would wear this hat!
We want to thank you all for coming to visit us! We really had a great time and can't wait to see you again! Muah!
