New Houses, New Friends, New Additions...

Finally, I'm getting around to posting pics of our new house. You can see the before and after pics...before the landscaping and after the landscaping. We love our new house and are really enjoying the state of Nebraska. Did you know they have corn here?
Pierce has been playing with his new friend, Tyler! They really do have a good time together and on this particular day, Pierce was pushing Tyler in his truck. Both boys thought this was the greatest thing EVER!!
One afternoon, Pierce and I discovered we had a little (or not so little) friend on the back porch. I couldn't believe how big this praying mantis was!! It must have been 5-7 inches long!
Yes, it was Fantasy Football Draft #2 for Pierce. B anticipates this day as soon as the Super Bowl is over! I must admit, we both get into "our" team and we sure do enjoy the friendly competition. Come on, GQ's Big Time Ballers!!
And last, but certainly not least, we are overjoyed & blessed to announce that we are expecting our second child in Feb 2010! We are over the moon with excitement and can't wait for our new addition. No, we aren't going to find out what we're having...so, you're just going to have to wait until February; however, we always welcome your "guesses"...because you have so many options to choose from~ :)

Meet Me In St. Louis

Yes, again, I have neglected our blog for a few weeks. Please forgive me...
A few weekends ago we went to St. Louis to celebrate B's Granny's 95th birthday. Is that not one of the greatest blessings in the world? 95 years of life...man. Amazing. God is so good! She doesn't actually turn 95 until the 29th of August, but we decided to celebrate a little early. Granny looked absolutely gorgeous (not a day over 75) and had a wonderful time.
We went out to eat a fabulous seafood restaurant...who knew? Seafood in land-locked Missouri? It was WONDERFUL!! The hot crab & artichoke dip was to die for!!
Starting with Granny and working to the left: Granny, Aunt Susie, Alicia, Marshall, me, Pierce, Brandon, Darren, Armentha, Ms Cle & Clem. Phew...I think I got everyone!

After lunch, we headed back to Aunt Susie's for cake and ice cream. Pierce played outside with Uncle Marshall & Aunt Susie. Aunt Susie blew bubbles for him, which was the highlight of his day!
I love these pictures...
Granny waiting to blow out her candles. Pierce decided he would help her just a little bit! :)
Hey, Granny...do YOU have any cake for me??
I truly enjoy taking pics at family gatherings & our trip to St. Louis was no exception. I grabbed the boys & Ms Cle and decided to shoot a few pics on the porch.
