A Little Here, A Little There..NE, MO, VA, NC

Wright Brothers Memorial in Kill Devil Hills, NC
Pierce decided to take off running. Yep, that's him...that little dot to the left.
And, eventually, he needed to take a rest!

OBX over 4th of July weekend
A few pics from our trip to Ocean View Beach
3/4 of the Parkers

Ella's first time dipping her toes in the bay in Norfolk...not really diggin' it

Pierce LOVES to play the piano (and the drums) any chance he gets. So, here he is playing & singing with Aunt Susie.
Check out his expression when he realizes she, too, knows the words to "Jesus Loves Me"...priceless.
Ella listening to the music

Ella chillin' on the porch with her favorite guy in the whole wide world

Pierce enjoying the sprinkler at Aunt Susie's house. And, yes, he IS trying to drink the water :)

Pierce & Ella's favorite babysitter of all time, Amy

A great photographer friend suggested that we take a picture of Pierce each year (around his birthday) in one of B's dress shirts and a tie. If we use the same one, we'll be able to see just how much he's grown each year and how eventually, he may actually fit into the shirt quite nicely. We liked the idea, so here's pic #1 at 2 years old.

The kids with Uncle Marsh

Aunt Ma chillin' with her great-niece!!
So, over Memorial Day weekend, we went to St. Louis and we took the kids to Grant's Farm. Pierce got to feed the (somewhat aggressive) goats, ride the carousel, run through the misters, etc. He had a great time! Ms. Ella chilled in the stroller, but also got to run through the misters with me. She, too, loved it!

Cousins, Sandcastles, & Pools...Oh My!!

Today, the kids and I drove to Virginia Beach to meet up with Brad, Brooke, Chase & Izzy. What a blast Pierce had playing with his cousins!! I think Chase was excited just to see another little boy (he's the only boy amongst a bunch of little girls during their vacation). Pierce & Chase took on the ocean and had a great time building sandcastles with Brad! Ella did her norm and took a short snooze on the beach in the shade. We made our way back to the house and the kids continued to swim in the pool. It was so nice to see them and we can't wait for our trip back to PA in a couple weeks!!
Quite possibly the greatest pic of the summer so far...
Michael Phelps doesn't have anything on this kid!

Happy Birthday, America!!

Well, well, well...as you can see, it's been quite some time since I last blogged, BUT it wasn't my fault this time. We (it was actually Brandon, but b/c we're a team, I'll say "we") left my camera bag in St. Louis while we were visiting over Memorial Day. The only thing I had was my camera, so no lenses, no video camera, no batteries, no cord so I could download pics, etc. We decided to wait to pick it up when we drove through at the end of June, on our way to Virginia. SO, I now have my camera bag and all my accessories :) Needless to say, I have a TON of pics to post. I'm just going to throw them all on this one and let everyone look at one blog, instead of multiple ones.

Today is the 4th of July and I LOVE this holiday...not only because it's America's Independence Day, but also because of all the grilling, good food, fireworks, etc. It doesn't get any better than this!! God bless the U.S.A.!
Here are Ella's 3 & 4 month pics. It's amazing to me just how much our babies change in just a few months!!
While we were in St. Louis over Memorial Day weekend, we visited Aunt Susie, hung out with Grandpa Pat & took on Grant's Farm. We had a wonderful weekend with friends and family!
Okay, so I'm having some difficulties getting more pics to upload, but I'll keep trying. In the meantime, I guess these pics will have to do!
