Come On Ring Those Bells!

If I'm being completely honest, this video (in two parts because it's too big for just one) is my very favorite and EVERY time I watch it, I find something new to smile, laugh, or cry about.  Pierce's face and the smile that I've never seen before is the first thing that always makes me laugh, as does the little girl to his left.  He knows every move, every sway, every word (although he's a little challenged in the rhythm department, I have to admit).  I love that he absolutely LOVES to sing loudly for the Lord.  I love that his innocence keeps him from being embarrassed about singing WAY louder than any of the other kids and that he doesn't care if anyone else sways, he's gonna sway because that's what he's supposed to do.  I absolutely love it!  And him!  And, the lessons that he continues to teach us.  If only we would all sing so loudly for the Lord, without caring what others around us may think, because He is worthy to be praised!!  Happy Birthday, Jesus!

Little Saint Nick...Do You Hear What I Hear?

I can't believe I even remembered my password to actually blog again!!  So, since the last post, Ella is now 2 (will be 3 in 2 months), Pierce is 4, and we've since had another addition, sweet baby Reis who is almost 5 months old.  We're back in Minot and loving it thus far!  Here are a couple of videos of the kids.  Ella had her first dance recital last weekend and Pierce made his debut at The Children's Christmas Program at church.  We hope you enjoy these as much as we do.  Merry Christmas!!

I Reminsce Over You

Ella Grace, Happy 1st Birthday, Sweet Girl! You are the most wonderful addition to our family and we're so thankful and blessed that God chose us for you. Your smile is contagious, your laugh so warming, and your wet slobbery kisses are simply the best. Your brother loves you as if you hung the moon yourself. Daddy & I couldn't love you more and then tomorrow comes and we realize that's not true because every day, we love you more than yesterday. We pray you find and explore all the wonderful things life has to offer. You are our sweet girl, now and always. We love you, Mama & Dada

Monthly pics over the past year...

UGH!! This spacing is driving me crazy!!!

Happy (Belated) Birthday, Ella Grace!

Ella's real birthday was spent being driven around by Pierce in the Jeep. The second pic cracks me up b/c EVERY time she's in the Jeep, she immediately starts messing with the radio.
Happy Valentine's Day!
We had Ella's party on Sunday, the 13th of Feb. We had good food, good friends,a good time...what more could a 1-year-old ask for?
Ella started her party by stalking everyone's plates...
Happy Birthday, sweet Ella!!
Let the cake fun begin!

And, of course, the kids loved these blow thingers...
What's up, Wes?
We spent the day at the Omaha Children's Museum. Jea, Jake, & Wes joined us. The kids had a great time!!
Pierce doin' a little golfin' in The Big Backyard
Jea & Wes....I love his expression!
No one could pass up the carousel :)
I asked Pierce to sit by his Poppy so I could take a picture...and, this is what I got! Love him :)
As always, the balls were a huge hit!

She's Walkin' on Sunshine!!

She's walkin'!!! Well, a few steps anyway! We finally got it on video today, so here it is! I'm also going to post Pierce doing a little spelling. I thought about apologizing for being such a slacker when it comes to the blog, but it really gets old, so....just know I THINK about blogging much more than I actually do. I will post pics of Ella's 1st birthday some time soon, I promise! In the mean time, enjoy the videos!

Congratulations!

So, as Christmas seems to be sneaking up on me, I seem to have forgotten my blog...again. Anyway, we had a very nice Thanksgiving and spent it with our friends (The Bartels Fam & the Haynes Fam). Ma came to visit the day before, so she was here too. Good times!

On a sad note, my Pappy Giordano passed away on 21 Nov. I flew home on Black Friday, for the viewing and stayed for the funeral on Saturday, then returned to Omaha on Saturday night. I'm so thankful I was able to be there to celebrate his life!

Also, big news is that Brandon pinned on Lt Col! We're so excited for him and so very, very proud. B's mom, my mom, his brother, cousin, & aunt were all here for the ceremony. It was wonderful. This was the first time either one of us had ever seen the other promoted. So after almost 10 years of being together, we FINALLY got to be together for a promotion. :)
